As the founder of Gentypical, Wayne is driven by a simple but powerful belief: children deserve to understand the technology shaping their future and be empowered to use it safely, ethically and creatively.
With nearly two decades of experience as a technical consultant and quality assurance leader across enterprise, government, and the NHS, Wayne has witnessed first-hand the transformative power of emerging technologies. He has also recognised critical gaps in understanding, safety, and accessibility, especially regarding how young people engage with artificial intelligence. Gentypical was created to help close that gap.
Wayne is an active researcher in the field of generative AI, having developed custom AI services, including a government customer services platform. He has designed education-centred AI frameworks tailored for safe classroom use. His credentials include multiple certifications in Responsible AI, Generative AI Fundamentals, and MLOps from leading institutions such as Google Cloud, Databricks, and Securiti.
Through Gentypical, Wayne’s mission is to pioneer the next generation of AI literacy—making it not only accessible but deeply meaningful. By leading the SEC Program (Safety, Ethics, Creativity), he is building an educational model that empowers children, supports teachers, and guides parents to navigate the world of AI with confidence and clarity.
